30 Days of Thanksgiving: Day 27

Today I'm thankful that my kids are developing a love of reading.  I remember the first summer we had Isaac, just about a year and a half ago.  I would ask him to have some down time with books, and he would just wilt.  Later, when we had Andy, he would do just about anything to put off reading.

Little by little, we've worked with them to help them improve their reading skills and confidence, and it's paying off.  Isaac has been named the family bookworm, and Andy's been finding more and more books that he's excited about recently.  In fact, when we went to the library today, they were excited and happy to be going, and we checked out a stack of just over 30 books!
