Tour of the ER

Well, things didn't go so hot last night.  My fever ended up spiking up to 101.7, and I ended up getting an inside look at the brand new ER down the road from us.  Nice that it's so convenient....

Anyway, my port wasn't working to get blood drawn, so the whole process ended up being long and somewhat painful, but the end result was that my white blood count had gone from 1.5 to 3.7, which may have been the cause of the fever getting so high.  Just to be safe, though, I'm now on an antibiotic for a week, in case there's any infection.

So....hopefully the rest of this weekend will be less eventful!

  1. Kelli,

This is a journey like no other. I appreciate your list of God's promises -- He will bring you through this! I'm so sorry to hear you are not feeling well...praying for God's continual healing hand over you and that you will receive some relief from the side effects of the chemo this week.

  2. Praying for you Kelli. Your promises gave me chills. I pray that He reminds you of them every time fear, pain, frustration, sickness, etc. sets in. They are a good reminder for all of us.
